For clients who are not regularly in residence, Sankhara provides ongoing property oversight through scheduled visits, condition checks, and coordination of any work required to keep the property in order—offering a trusted local presence and ensuring the home remains secure, maintained, and prepared at all times.

Protecting a second home or private estate requires consistent attention—particularly when the property sits unoccupied for extended periods. Environmental conditions, aging systems, and unexpected failures can quickly become disruptions if not identified early.

The objective is simple: maintain awareness of the property and address issues before they escalate. This is achieved through ongoing property oversight.

Services typically include scheduled visits, condition checks, proactive inspections, and coordination of any work required to keep the property in order. Most clients select a monthly, biweekly, or weekly oversight schedule depending on how frequently the property should be checked.

We coordinate trusted local vendors, oversee mechanical systems and utilities, assist with home technology and monitoring systems, and ensure that the property remains secure and functioning as intended. The result is a home that is consistently maintained and prepared—ready whenever you arrive, without the need for constant involvement.

Sankhara Property Management oversees a limited portfolio of homes throughout Woodstock, Hurley, Saugerties, Kingston Rhinebeck and the surrounding Hudson Valley.

Our services are focused on privately used homes and estates.
We primarily work with homeowners who maintain second residences in the Hudson Valley and require reliable local oversight when they are not in residence. Short-term rental and guest management services are outside the scope of our practice.
